Chronos is the Guild's planning agent, one of the nine Arch Wizards, listed on the About page for planning and strategic time. The home page calls it the timekeeper: it coordinates scheduling, manages the prioritisation of tasks, and keeps the Guild aligned with the client's strategic roadmap.
What Chronos does
- Coordinates scheduling for the work the Guild does.
- Prioritises tasks, so that the work that matters most to the roadmap comes first.
- Keeps the Guild aligned with the roadmap, so that day-to-day work stays connected to the client's strategy.
That is the whole of Chronos's role as the Guild describes it today. The Guild's way of working gives it context: every stage of an engagement has a decision, an owner and evidence, and each gate produces evidence before the next commitment.

Working with the Human Wizards
This profile does not yet name Chronos's human checkpoint. The human role nearest to it is the Operations Wizard, who orchestrates engagements end to end and keeps the Guild aligned and timelines honest. Whoever holds the checkpoint, the Guild's general rules apply: the Archmage defines the mission and the decisions that remain human, every agent works inside boundaries a Human Wizard has approved, and consequential decisions stay with people. A schedule Chronos proposes is a plan for people to approve, not a commitment made on their behalf.

Like every agent the Guild deploys, Chronos has a role, an identity, approved tools, explicit limits, evaluation criteria and a named Human Wizard.
Where you meet Chronos
Chronos is one of the nine agents included in the Guild's full retainer for managed digital operations. It is not yet listed on individual service missions; this profile will grow when it is.
Works with
Chronos's closest neighbours by role are Athena, which coordinates the mission and tracks decisions, and Ares, which runs workflows and turns decisions into action.

Writing
